Why the Red Shoes Realtor?
Hello. I’m James.
Real estate is personal. Especially when you’re selling the home where your family spent the last 30 or 40 years.
That house isn’t a listing. It’s where the kids grew up, where every holiday happened, and where there is a pencil mark on a door frame nobody wants to paint over. Selling it is a real estate transaction and a family event at the same time.
Draft note. Replace before launch.James: the red shoes story goes here. Where they came from, when you started wearing them, and what people say when they see them. Three or four sentences, in your own words.
What I believe
Most families don’t need a salesman. They need somebody who has done this before to tell them what needs to happen, what doesn’t, and what comes next.
Nobody should be rushed out of a home they’ve lived in for decades. The timeline belongs to the person who is moving.
The details are the job. The paperwork, the dates, the phone calls, the contractor who needs letting in on a Tuesday. Somebody has to be paying attention to all of it. That’s me.
Draft note. Replace before launch.James: a few sentences on why you enjoy working with seniors and their families. A specific moment or person is better than a general statement.
How I want you to feel at the end
Cared for. Informed. And relieved that somebody was watching the details so you could pay attention to your family.
If you’re looking at your mother’s house, or your own, and thinking “I have no idea how we’re going to deal with all of this”, that’s the call I take every day.
James
